It does the job and doesn't hurt the pocketbook. Paper jams are a common occurance. This is a nice printer especially for the money. There are a few problems. It does take a tad too long to print also, but I did not expect great things for a cheap printer.
Wanted a printer compatible with broken one mainly for cartridge purposes. Even though slightly out-of-date, third party shipping cost was excessive.
This printer is nothing more than a piece of junk. I have been using HP printers so long I can't remember my first purchase. HP should be ashamed to be selling this flimsy trash.
The ink has lasted me several months now. I'm very glad I purchased this printer, I finally have one I can rely on. And the design is very nice. This one is different. It has a low profile that fits easily on our narrow shelves.
I've experienced awful copies, ink that runs out constantly (at $25 or so a pop) or just printers that decide not to work. I don't use it for photos, usually, but both color and b/w pages print clearly every time. This printer is faster than any I've owned. Lastly, refill ink cartridges are fairly reasonable, with b/w below $15 and color below $20. I've gone through several printers in the last few years.
It makes beautiful copies. It holds up to 80 sheets of paper.
In fast draft setting. so, if you run out of ink, just don't refill at walgreens. I printed 2700 or more pages with the original ink. Color.Still the colors looked great, even as the pages were rush printed.I then took the cartridges to walgreens to refill, and the ink sucked big time.
